Abstract

The transition from the sphere of the ethical life of the state to the dimension of world spirit shows the impossibility of the realization of freedom within history. But what is impossible to the objective spirit becomes possible to the absolute spirit: freedom is possible outside of history in the dimension of pure knowledge.
